Join our Quality Team in Alingsås as a Quality Engineer and be an important part of ensuring our products meet the highest standards, exceeding customer expectations. Our mission is to secure a greener future This position focuses on post-production processes, including pre-kitting, kitting, and finished goods warehousing. You'll be entrusted with the responsibility to elevate and ensure the quality of our product offerings. By taking early action, you will effectively remove fundamental problems and cut down on costs. Primary tasks * You'll spearhead the development and implementation of quality policies *  Identify opportunities to refine existing processes whenever product or quality is at risk *  Leverage quality analyses to initiate improvement projects and ensure their effective implementation across the organization Conduct audits, propose improvements, adjust and document processes, and even halt production when necessary to safeguard quality. Measurable success Your contributions will be directly linked to key performance indicators (KPIs) like: * Reduced Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) * Increased First Time Right (FTR) rate * Minimized Non-Conformity Reports (NCRs) Thrive in a Dynamic Environment Our organization holds in high regard the ability to efficiently organize time and determine key priorities. Your work approach is steady and thorough, and you are highly adept at critical examination. Communication is effortless for you, both within and outside the organization. You're known for your ability to present ideas constructively and educate others. Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing role * Familiarity with quality improvement tools (5-Why, 8D, Six Sigma, etc.) – Six Sigma experience beneficial * Proficiency in MS Office and Excel * Fluency in English; Swedish and/or German knowledge a benefit * SAP experience (advantageous) NKT is committed to fostering a diverse organization and a culture where people from different backgrounds can thrive and are inspired to perform at their best.
