Electrical Quality Engineer
About the position
As a Quality Engineer - Electrical, you are assigned various delivery projects. Your responsibility involves verifying, inspecting, and documenting electrical equipment and installations related to explosion protection in our client’s turbine deliveries (Ex/ATEX). This position offers a hybrid solution where you will work three out of five days in the office in Finspång.
In your role as Electrical Quality Engineer, your main tasks will include:
* Review contracts to identify local regulations related to Ex equipment and document them.
* Compile a list (Ex list) of components that have Ex requirements and review their classification and certificates.
* Perform safety inspections, which involve traveling to the locations where our client install the turbine packages. Verify and inspect that the electrical installation complies with the customer’s requirements regarding Ex.
* Write inspection reports containing any deviations that need to be addressed.
* Support the sales organization in matters related to Ex requirements.
* Prepare a report on compliance with the Low Voltage Directive as a basis for CE marking concerning control cabinets.
This position is a full-time consultant assignment running from August 26, 2024 until August 25, 2025.
About you/Requirements for the position
* Knowledge in contract reading
* Experience in quality work
* Electrical engineer or high school competence in electrical work with several years of experience in electrical installations
* IEC Ex competence is advantageous
* Structured and precise
* Understanding and knowledge in ATEX and LVD (Low Voltage Directive)
* Fluency in both spoken and written English.
* Swedish is highly meritorious
