System Engineer
About the role
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join the service group responsible for delivering modernization and upgrading projects for Steam and Gas Turbines. The upgrades primarily involve control and monitoring equipment. You will be part of the electrical design office, where currently 10 electrical engineers are working with modifications and updates.
In your role as an Electrical Engineer your main tasks will include:
- As part of a project team, you will be responsible for electrical design in the project. Your responsibilities mainly cover quality, timing, and cost.
- The work includes preparing documentation for replacing the existing control system with a new one. Drawings are updated using our CAD systems AutoCad and Comos.
- To prepare documents describing how to dismantle the old system and install the new one.
- Attend customer meetings and handle documentation.
- Travel to the facility for site surveys.
- Provide remote and/or on-site technical support during equipment installation.
- Involvement in development projects when required.
This position is a full-time consultant assignment running from September 02, 2024 until august 29, 2025.
About you
You have experience in electrical design, preferably with gas/steam turbine control equipment, and are proficient in CAD tools (AutoCad/Comos). Since the work environment is international with customers worldwide, it is essential to handle international contacts professionally. You speak and write Swedish and English fluently, and additional language skills are advantageous. You are structured, resourceful, and goal-oriented.
