Role? Account Manager to Blocket focused on developing our customer base and driving upsell opportunities to fuel their business growth while actively seeking new opportunities to expand our market presence and success.
Location? We’re a hybrid workspace and we meet two days a week at our modern central Stockholm office - and during the first months, we aim to meet at the office regularly to build team spirit.
Company? Blocket is Sweden’s largest and most popular marketplace with around 12,3M monthly active users generating 100 million sessions. WHO ARE YOU? 

  • You’ve already gathered some experience in sales roles and you’re comfortable picking up the phone to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Experience in handling new customer sales over the phone and excel in high-activity environments.
  • As we’re building up a new in-house sales team, you’re a community-builder, willing to support others, learn from each other and proactively help build the team culture!
  • You’re motivated, eager to achieve targets, and constantly seeking ways to improve outcomes for both the company and our clients.
  • You’re ready and excited to grow, always looking for opportunities to learn from challenges and new experiences.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English: while the vast majority of your clients are Swedish-speaking, we are an English-speaking company and work culture.
  • As a person, you’re a curious and positive-minded team player and a relationship builder, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude to tackle challenges and innovate solutions.

    WHAT’S THE JOB LIKE?

    Day-to-day work & projects As an Account Manager, you are joining a brand new Blocket sales team. Our goal is to assist customers in leveraging Blocket as a primary sales channel while helping them expand their businesses and grow alongside them. You work with both existing customers and new customer sales, focusing on small and medium-sized B2B clients in the second-hand industry. On a day-to-day basis, you work as part of a team, collectively serving our existing customers, jointly acquiring new ones, and winning back previous clients. When the team succeeds, you succeed! To best serve all our customers, we operate in an activity-based manner, supported by digital tools. Much of your work will be conducted over the phone, ensuring efficient and effective communication with our clients. Part of your responsibilities also includes winning back previous customers and onboarding new ones, helping them get started and ensuring they have a smooth transition onto the platform. Lastly, you’re entering a Nordic sales community, meaning that your collaboration and learning spirit come into play to develop relationships both locally (e.g with marketing and product, teams), and with the rest of our Nordic sales teams!

    Not everything is cotton candy clouds, so here’s the main opportunity to make an impact Our new Blocket sales team will gather 4 account managers. Joining a new team in the fast-paced digital marketplace means starting from scratch to build an authentic and effective team culture. While not everything will be set in stone and processes will mold along the way, these challenges offer great opportunities for you to actively participate in shaping Blocket’s sales culture and the way we connect with customers. Your input will be crucial in fostering an environment that encourages ongoing improvement and celebrates achievements, paving the way for our marketplace’s long-term success!
