Process Engineer

Nilsson Energy is now strengthening its team with two Senior Process Engineers; One will have more focus towards electrolysers and the other person more towards technical project management yet performing process engineering tasks. You will play a broad and important role within the company with significant personal responsibility. Nilsson Energy has an office and a workshop in Gothenburg.

You will be deeply involved in several projects and responsible for developing the process technical documentation for various types of process facilities. This documentation will be crucial for ensuring procurement, risk assessments, and the completion of the design for entire facilities. You will be involved throughout the process, from concept design to implementation and commissioning. The role is very broad.

Your main tasks will include:
Design of process plants ensuring the necessary functions, e.g.

• Developing Process Flow Diagrams (PFD) and the overall mass balance for the facility
• Developing Process and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID)
• Writing process descriptions
• Participating in risk analyses
• Reviewing and evaluating offers from equipment suppliers from a process perspective
• Participating in FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities
• Developing operational manuals and educate clients
• Coordinating with the other engineering disciplines to ensure functional requirements are met.

You will report to the company's "Head of Projects".

Kvalifikationer

Who are you?

• You have an engineering degree, or extensive work experience, focused on energy, gas, or heavy process industries.
• You have several years of experience working with interfaces towards different types of engineers and software developers, allowing you to understand the overall picture and the development of a complete facility.
• You have strong proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• We believe you are a responsible and communicative person with a solid interest in technology and a desire to learn new things.
• You have a good ability to manage your own work and are motivated by solving problems.

Location: The primary workplace is at our office well located in the centre of Gothenburg, but the position also requires some travel, both within Sweden and internationally.
