Senior Project Manager - Finance

As part of the global finance development team, you will be part of transforming the way we work with finance at SKF. Your responsibility as a Senior project manager is to oversee projects within finance development from start to finish, ensuring alignment with company strategy and commitments. You’ll create project workbooks, break down the scope into deliverables, and efficiently plan execution.

What you can expect in this role

• Overseeing projects throughout their lifecycle, from initiation to completion.
• Manage project team members; break down the scope and prioritize the important activities.
• Secure change management when required, to reach a smooth transition.
• Anticipating potential issues and risks and addressing them proactively.
• Report project progress to internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams within SKF.

We expect you to have

• Extensive experience in project management; overseeing projects and leading teams toward achieving project goals.
• Earlier experience of system implementations on the receiving side.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Showing dedication to the projects and its success
• Professional communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing
• University degree or 5+ years of experience in a similar role
• Understanding of finance processes and systems is a plus, but not a requirement.

Additional information

The preferred location is Gothenburg but other SKF sites within EMEA, preferably close to our financial operational centers could be an alternative (Poznan and Madrid).
