Data Engineer

Being a part of the team gives you the opportunity to be at the product development core for a SaaS product that ismulti-tenant anddata-intensive.About the role and day-to-dayOur product development organization, with approximately 70 colleagues,is organized according to team topologies with teams delivering value to our customers and platform teams catering for these empowered stream aligned teams through enabling them with building blocks and frameworks driven by an architectural vision. As a Data Engineer atVoyado Engage you will be part of the team catering and providing value for the stream aligned teams through enhancing the data platform and making the datamore accessible.

The team working with Engage Product Development is primarily located in Åre,Norrköping, Linköping and Stockholm, and this role would benefit from being located in Åre where the main collaborators for this rolecurrently are located. However working from one of our other locationsis absolutely ok

Some of the things you'll be up to:

• Build large-scale batch and near real-time data processing systems with Python and Spark.
• Facilitate and drive collaboration with other software engineers, data scientists, and decision-makers, such as product managers, to build exceptional data powered products.
• Evolving our data pipelines towards technical excellence and continuously evaluating performance at scale.
• Continuously improving our code bases by working with innovative data processing frameworks, technologies, and platforms.
• Continuously enhancing your knowledge within the world of “big data” technology as we are eager to try out new or enhanced technologies
• Be part of ensuring scalability for our product where the data platform plays a crucial role.

So, who are you?

You have a genuine interest for data, you like to try new ways and to share your skills and knowledge with your team. We also believe you are a humble team player who enjoys working with different teams to enable them with their data platform needs. When it comes to technologies we are working with Python, SQL, Databricks and Azure. So we believe that you should have a solid experience and knowledge within these technologies or similarto succeed in this role.
