The Manufacturing Data and Analytics Hub is responsible for the development and management of Data Products and Analytics Products for the Manufacturing function which enable greater efficiency and better decision-making across Manufacturing. Our manufacturing transformation revolves around optimising production capabilities and expanding manufacturing capacity to effectively address the increasing demand for our vehicles. This approach is anchored by our commitment to electrification, a drive for cost optimisation, and a culture of people development, collaboration and best practice sharing.   What you'll do The principle aim of the role is to lead the build and delivery of the manufacturing advanced analytics capabilities in line with our vision and strategy, to drive innovation using data to achieve smart and sustainable manufacturing.  You will be responsible for driving the desired transformation within Manufacturing including identifying the big bets and delivering them through leading the team, enabling and upskilling the organisation, finding opportunities to drive value, and ensuring leadership is engaged and champions our work.  You will continually develop your own knowledge of this fast-moving area, and ensure that the team and the organization continue to build capabilities in line with industry change. Lead the advanced analytics capability across the manufacturing group, ensuring the team is driving towards our shared future state in manufacturing, in collaboration with leadership team Build of high quality, robust analytical models and products that drive our KPIs and meet the needs of the organisation Own the roadmap for the build of manufacturing analytical products, managing the backlog, roadmap and prioritisation processes and ensuring best practices are adhered to. What you'll bring 10+ years’ experience in analytics and data science as a practitioner and leader and experience in managing teams of analytical experts. Degree qualified in a relevant subject (or suitable equivalent industry experience). Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences. Broad technical breadth including familiarity with data platform services specifically for data science.  You have a way with numbers, as well as a strong business sense, and ability to inform strategic business decisions. Have a validated ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization, and in a variety of contexts. You have got a strong intuition based on a broad range of experiences, but you take a critical mind even to your own ideas and are ready to be challenged by colleagues of all levels. You are motivated by a burning desire for excellence but take a pragmatic approach to achieving your goals.You have deep technical expertise in data science, with a desire to broaden that expertise into the other data and analytics technical disciplines. Prior experience within an automotive environment. Well established relevant network from which to draw advice, guidance, best practice and industry developments. Want to know more? We hope so!
