Exterior and Structures Design Consultant

General requirements:

• Design experience in surface modeling with Catia V5/V6
• Experience in design of automotive panels, ducts, brackets, and structural components.
• At least 4 years of experience in development for automotive market
• Great engineering judgment
• Quick turnaround time of tasks
• Self-driven and adaptable
• Ability to manage multiple task types and short time-frames
• Knowledge of GD&T
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive technical documentation and reports - self-organized.
• Experience in PLM
• Good communication skills
• Fast learner
• Professional level of English

Special Expertise:

• Experience with the design of CFRP would be an advantage.
• Experience with Tooling design would be an advantage.
• Experience in Monitor ERP system

Responsibilities:

• Creating 3D models, assemblies and 2D drawings using Catia V6
• Support the release of product into production (PLM)
• Ensuring that products meet compliance regulations
• Organize and carry out tests to verify component function and requirements
• Technical support leading to successful introduction into production
• Estimating cost and time scopes for each part
• Interaction with suppliers and technology providers
• Collaborating with technical leads and other engineers in and outside of the team
