Group Demand & Supply Planner

Are you up for the challenge to develop Optinova Group's global demand and supply planning process? Are you intrigued by working closely with VP Sales and Plant Managers as well as managing C-suite stakeholders? The Demand and Supply Planning Manager will spearhead the coordination of demand and supply projections for our key sales accounts and raw material supplies across our four factories. This pivotal role involves active participation in our integrated business planning, ensuring a harmonized approach to procurement and inventory management in response to market demands. The position entails regular collaboration with account coordinators, key account managers, sales VPs, master planners, local Supply Chain Managers, and Factory Managers to optimize operational efficiency and meet business objectives.

In this important role, you will directly contribute to our journey towards profitable growth, optimization of our global manufacturing footprint, and ensuring material availability

The workplace is located at our office in Uppsala, Sweden.

Key responsibility areas: 

• Demand Plan, e g maintain demand plan based on itemized forecast from Key Sales Account, validate itemized forecast, etc.
• Supply Plan, e g maintain per value stream from all factories, monitor group-wide capacity expansion, etc.
• Integrated Business Plan, e g provide scenarios and facilitate the demand and supply reviews with key stakeholders, visualize opportunities for growth (delta between demand vs supply), ptovide insights to Plant Managers, Group Supply Chain Manager and Chief Operations Officer on trends and risks, etc.
• Inventory Management, e g develop and implement together with the local Supply Chain Managers an Inventory Management Handbook , etc.
• Process and data analysis, e g develop and improve processes and tools for data driven decision making and towards a more standardized and digitalized process for Demand and Supply Planning globally.

To be successful in this role you need:

• Min 5 years of relevant work experience
• M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Strategic thinking skills
• Ability to build trust and collaboration in an international environment
• Fluency in English and Swedish
