We are now looking for Senior Portfolio Manager who can help us to continuously improve Volue's ability to provide value to customers in line with the Volue mission.
As a Senior Financial Portfolio Manager, you will play a critical role in managing client portfolios by executing hedging and trading strategies in financial markets. Leveraging your expertise in finance, you will work closely with clients to understand their objectives, and develop tailored strategies to achieve their financial goals.

As a Senior Financial Portfolio Manager, you will play a critical role in managing client portfolios by executing hedging and trading strategies in financial markets. Leveraging your expertise in finance, you will work closely with clients to understand their objectives, and develop tailored strategies to achieve their financial goals.
What you will be doing to make a difference:
- Manage client portfolios by executing hedging and trading strategies across various financial markets.
- Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, economic indicators, and other factors influencing decisions.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate portfolio volatility and optimize returns.
- Monitor portfolio performance and provide regular updates and recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in financial markets to identify new opportunities and enhance investment strategies.
- Relevant education on a Bachelor-level, combined with or replaced by 5+ years of relevant experience from financial markets, preferably within the power industry.
- Experience in financial markets
- Commercial mindset
- Understanding of the Nordic and European power market
- Knowledge of the physical power market
- Ability to manage own workload and to both plan and execute on a strategy.
- People-focus with ability to build trust-based relationships with relevant stakeholders
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Large degree of influence in shaping & developing the role further
