Media Tech is a central unit enabling Schibsted Media to deliver high-performing and data-driven solutions, and technology. We are almost 400 employees in Sweden, Norway and Poland, and we work closely with the Product & Consumer Unit and editorial teams in Schibsted Media. Media Tech has grown significantly, and has great ambitions for the future.

We are looking to strengthen our People Team with an experienced and skilled People Business partner, to join us on this journey. You will be a part of the Media Tech People Team, and together we will drive the people agenda and our processes towards employees and leaders. You will have a dedicated business area as your scope, where you will team up with managers to deliver excellent people support.  

Your responsibilities

  • Be a strategic partner to the business on topics such as: organisational design, compensation & benefits, coaching and performance,  management, legal enquiries, conflict resolution, talent management, employee satisfaction and retention
  • Be an active member of the leadership team in your dedicated business area, to support the managers on both strategic, tactical and operational tasks. 
  • Drive and execute on our people strategy and people agenda
  • Partner with centre of excellence HR functions on specialist topics (e.g. Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management) collaborate in delivering specialist services and platforms to our business
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Media Tech, such as Strategy & Enablement on projects, processes and initiatives 
  • Proactive collaboration with the Unions
  • Contribute to HR projects across Schibsted Media and actively promote best practices

Who are we looking for

We are looking for someone who can make things happen and help us drive the people agenda in Media Tech. We expect you to be both strategic and operational in your role in establishing Media Tech as an exceptional workplace for our employees. You are a credible and trusted People Business Partner who truly understands all aspects of the business and who dares to challenge with new thoughts and perspectives. If the below describes you, the role might be a perfect match!

  • Relevant education, minimum Bachelor’s degree is a requirement
  • Comprehensive all round HR expertise including a clear understanding of the link between HR and the business strategy
  • Experience from working with Swedish Labour Law and with Unions
  • Experience from working in a tech-company is an advantage 
  • Process oriented with solid project management skills
  • Great collaboration skills and experienced in coaching managers
  • Structured and result-oriented; demonstrates a will to drive things forward, and make sure decisions are followed through
  • Fluent in English, as well as the ability to communicate in Swedish
  • Self-driven and independent, yet with a will to ask and understand

Start date: November 1st (another startdate might be agreed upon)
