The Product & Consumer organisation is a central unit responsible for the commercial subscription business and all of the consumer products in Schibsted Media. Our goal is to grow Schibsted Media’s user revenue by increasing subscriber numbers and improving customer relationships - from visitors to subscribers. The unit has around 300 employees in Norway and Sweden, and collaborates closely with Schibsted Media Technology and editorial teams.

Are you Product & Consumer’s new People Business Partner?

We are now looking for a People Business Partner to deliver on the people agenda in the Product & Consumer organisation and help drive our people processes towards employees and leaders. This means working passionately with both strategic and operational tasks and delivering great experiences for our people through targeted initiatives and professional people advisory support. Your main responsibility is to drive our people strategy in specific parts of Product & Consumer that you will be responsible for. You will also be involved in driving prioritizations and people processes across the wider organisation.

In this role you will  team up with and report to Product & Consumers People & Culture Manager, Andreas Borge. You will also be an active member of the leadership team in one of our subscription units.

Your responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and drive our people strategy in specific business units as well as act as a business driven and strategic counterpart in specific business units
  • Drive the implementation of targeted people initiatives, processes and programs according to business needs across the organisation
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business on topics such as compensation, coaching and performance management, employee contracts, employee satisfaction and retention, work environment law enquiries, etc.
  • Provide proactive people support to employees and managers

We expect you to be both strategic and operational in your role in establishing Product & Consumer an exceptional workplace for our employees.   • Relevant education, minimum Bachelor’s degree, is a requirement
  • Comprehensive experience within the HR field, and used to driving activities that are part of the annual HR cycle
  • Great collaboration skills and experienced in advising managers
  • Structured and result-oriented; demonstrates a will to drive things forward, and make sure decisions are followed through
  • Thrives in a high-paced and changing work environment, and have experience with organizational development
  • Self-driven and independent, yet with a will to ask and understand
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, and have good experience with Swedish Labor Law
