About this position
As a System Architect at Podme, you will be a key player in shaping the future of our digital content delivery platform. This role involves designing, implementing, and evolving the end-to-end architecture to ensure a seamless, scalable, and innovative experience for our users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust and sustainable technical solutions and practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and establish system specifications, guidelines, and architecture standards.
- Ensure technical decisions safeguard high-performance, scalability, and reliability of Podme platform and applications.
- Lead the technical research and evaluation of new products, services and partnerships.
- Lead the Architect Forum to align architectural decisions and design systems that can efficiently scale to meet growing user demands.
- Represent Podme within Schibsted Media’s architect community.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies and evolve existing tech stack.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (2-5 years) as a System Architect or a similar role in relevant industry
- In-depth knowledge of streaming technologies, content delivery and content management.
- Experience with mobile app architectures
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
