We know that people data can create powerful insights and have a direct impact on business decisions at Scania. To become even better at utilizing our large amount of people data at Scania in Sweden we're leveling up our efforts in this area and hiring our first ever Product Owner within People Analytics.
This means that you will be part of forming the scope of this role and we will trust you with the responsibility of driving the development of the People Analytics area in Sweden. One of your first key actions will be to define a vision and strategy going forward.
You will focus on the Swedish organization and work closely with various parts of the organization, collaborating with stakeholders from different teams such as P&C, production, R&D, and sales. You will proactively build collaboration models, both locally and globally, transforming insights into concrete actions, and have the opportunity to lead and develop a cross-functional team forward.

You have previous experience leading data-driven initiatives, setting strategies, and possess a strong ability to communicate complex data in a simple manner to various stakeholders. Key responsibilities and areas of focus:
- Be responsible for setting priorities, sequencing tasks, and tracking deliverables. Clearly communicate what needs to be done and what should be prioritized.
- Shape the strategy for how data will be used and visualized. Take ownership of the area, establish a strategy for a data-driven culture and guide the way forward!
- Ensure that local data management processes comply with applicable laws and security standard and implement processes and tools to ensure that the data used is reliable and accurate
- Collaborate with various local and global stakeholders to find the best possible solutions for making data accessible and visual.
- Act as a close advisor to People & Culture management in Sweden regarding People Analytics, proactively sharing insights and recommendations with leadership and other stakeholders.
- Educate and be a key champion for a data-driven culture, with the ability to communicate complex data in a simple and understandable way to various stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in people analytics, data management, and fostering a data-driven culture
- Strong knowledge in statistics, data analysis, and KPIs and key metrics within HR.
- Previous experience in defining and implementing strategies in people analytics.
- Good understanding of HR processes and how data can be used to improve them.
- A solid understanding of technical concepts such as data mesh, SQL, and visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Fluent proficiency in both spoken and written English
It is advantageous to have:
- Experience in data governance, security standards, and data privacy.
- Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications within HR.
