QMS Engineer

We are searching for a QMS Engineer to join Kedali Sweden AB. Kedali is one of world’s largest manufacturer of casings for lithium-ion batteries and operates within different segments of the battery industry and as the strategic partner of Northvolt here in Skellefteå.

A QMS Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring that the company's QMS (Quality Management System) is effectively built, implemented, and maintained. This is especially important in the automotive industry, where the ISO 9001 - IATF standards are applied, as well as other standards (f.e. ISO 14001, 45001 etc) to ensure compliance as well as customers satisfaction.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Cooperate with cross-functional teams to write procedures, instructions and create the templates needed, based on ISO 9001 – IATF standards.
• Lead and undertake internal audits, cooperate with external auditors, as well as train other internal auditors.
• Make sure the company complies with ISO 9001 and IATF standards.
• Make sure the Departments comply with the customer requirements.
• Identify the relevant trainings needed for all departments and coordinate them with the help of HR and relevant managers.
• Strive for continuous improvement in every level of the company, its processes, and the quality system.

The work is under general supervision of the Quality Departments Manager.

The role of QMS and its success is strictly linked to Cross Functional Teams.

Competence and experience

Hard skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or above with engineering background or QMS Diploma.
• Previous experience with ISO 9001 and IATF (automotive).
• Minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
• IATF and ISO 9001 internal auditor, and experience in ISO14001 & ISO 45001 are a merit.
• Excellent English skills in both spoken and written.
• Speaking Chinese or Swedish is a merit.
• Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
