Production technician

Key Responsibilities
This role overall responsibility is to ensure production line machinery is fully functional during production hours (trimming machines, scaling machines, skinning machines and filleting machines) and carry out preventive maintenance outside production hours

• Corrective and preventive maintenance of machinery
• Repairs (with support from equipment manufacturer)
• Maintenance documentation
• You will also be involved in maintenance and repairs of all sorts of other equipment such as, washing stations, automatic equipment for cleaning shoes/boots/clothes, cooling system, freezer, compressor, trucks etc

Qualifications

• Experience with production machinery or alternatively good mechanical experience from other industries
• Three years of mechanical experience preferred
• Technical school or similar mechanical courses
• Must be able to communicate and understand English at a good level
