About the Company
Emploid has been given renewed trust and is now helping ScanMarine to find a Project Engineer! This role is suitable for newly graduated civil engineers with ambitions to eventually move into a project management position. ScanMarine is a contracting company in the marine industry, executing projects ranging from minor repairs and refurbishments of ship interiors to complete interior packages for new construction of passenger-, and cruise ships. The position initially involves a consultancy assignment where you will be employed as a consultant at Emploid, with very good opportunities for a permanent position thereafter.
About the Role
As part of ScanMarine's project organization, you will join a team that values your skills and invests in your development. On your way to taking on a project management role, you will start working as a project engineer, where you will be involved in-, and support project managers in customer projects worldwide. The goal is for you to have the opportunity to go out and learn how the projects look and function, support in the procurement of materials and interiors, assist with quotes and calculations, and attend meetings and be involved in project preparations. As you become more comfortable and learn the job, you will take on smaller projects independently, eventually taking full responsibility for the entire project process from start to finish, considering quality and delivery time.

Working hours: 08:00-17:00, travel may occur

- Supporting project managers throughout the project process
- Gradually taking responsibility for and leading both large and small projects
- Contact with customers, suppliers, and craftsmen
About You

- Civil engineering degree in industrial economics, electrical engineering, design, mechanics, or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Driving license B
- Interest in the marine industry
- Previous experience in the construction industry
- Knowledge of Swedish
