In the role as Senior Production System Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of innovative solutions and enhancements for test equipment and tools in connected electronics, whether developed in-house at Sigma or for external clients.

You will collaborate closely with a team of talented and passionate individuals who share a common goal of creating innovative and cutting-edge automated production test solutions for a variety of products. You will be involved in simpler PCB testers, full production line 5G mobile phone verification, advanced optics testers, and everything in between. As a Senior Production System Engineer, you will be a key player in technical customer projects and driving continuous improvement in quality and efficiency within our Production Technology, Test Design, and Industrialization area.

* B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering. Alternatively, you have gained similar knowledge through work experience in fields of embedded systems, electronics, or mechatronics.
* Previous experience in an engineering role, preferably with experience in PC based applications with measurement automation and manufacturing test
* Strong knowledge of electronics over a wide range of technologies and ability to read and understand electrical or mechanical schematics
* Previous experience with C# and .NET
* Good communication, documentation and writing skills in English
