The Operational Technology Center at Nederman is dedicated to advancing cross-product platforms that bridge the digital gap between traditional industrial equipment and modern digital technologies. Our focus lies in developing new ways of controlling our equipment to improve performance, reduce costs and reduce their environmental footprint. Data is systematically collected through our fleet of connected devices, aiding our ongoing development initiatives, and delivering valuable insights. Empowered by cutting-edge AI technologies, we seamlessly provide these insights to our customers through user-friendly web and mobile applications. With a substantial and growing client base, we are committed to a rapid expansion. To achieve this, we are seeking to add 11 more professionals to our existing team of 7. We are looking for highly skilled people in Automation, Back-End, Front-End. QA, Project Management, Security, etc.
The objective is to build highly integrated hardware and software to create products that only Nederman - The Clean Air Company could make.
What you will do
As our Industrial Automation Engineer and subject matter expert, you will play an important role in contributing to cutting-edge technology and innovation and take ownership of the platform. Your work will also include developing all our process automation products and mainly work with new development initiatives and a mix of programing solutions. Key tasks include:
We are seeking two new colleagues to join our team in the field of automation. One candidate should have several years of experience in industrial automation, while the other should have a couple of years of experience. We highly value expertise in industrial electrical and automation systems, as well as experience in developing automation solutions. Proficiency in working with automation hardware and a strong background in automation related to industry and machinery are expected. Additionally, knowledge of the Linux operating system, computer networking protocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP, is required. Familiarity with standards and technologies like IEC61131-3, IEC 61499, Schneider EAE, Fieldbus is a definite plus. For this role, you need to have strong communication skills in English, spoken and written.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, working closely with other team members in various projects to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.
- Address the backlog for automation and programming in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
- Create new functions for the automation platform, contributing to the continuous improvement and expansion of its capabilities.
- Engage in testing processes to validate and optimize the performance of automation solutions.
- Supporting the startup of pilot projects, providing expertise in industrial automation to ensure successful project initiation.
- Commissioning activities on some occasions for new systems during the initial implementation phase.
