Alps Alpine, founded in 1948, is the only manufacturer specializing in mobile multimedia, an integrated system approach incorporating digital entertainment, security and navigation products for your mobile entertainment. The Swedish branch is focused on vehicle electronics with products within speakers and sound, infotainment, and radar solutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Software Development Leader you will be leading a team of skilled software developers. Alps Alpines development projects are global projects with developers in both Sweden and in Asia. This means that you will collaborate with other software developer leaders in other sites in order to get the best results out of each site. By working in this role in Gothenburg, close to our customers, you will be in a position where you have the daily contact with our customers when it comes to deliverables, time plans, way of working and all things in relation to our customers for a successful project.

Some of your day-to-day tasks:
  • Maintain customer dialogue and expectations in all phases of a project.
  • Lead Software development in a global context.
  • Secure high quality, incremental deliveries.
  • Identify potential risks and mitigate these by predicting possible future obstacles.
  • Interact with third party software developers.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • A relevant university degree within software engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of work experience within software development and software lifecycle and processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience in embedded CI/CD development within automotive.
  • At least a few years of proven experience within leadership and as a technical lead.
  • Experienced in A-SPICE.
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English.

You have excellent communication skills and can work independently and with initiative. You should be willing to take full ownership of your work and eager to learn and develop within the company.

The position is a direct recruitment, which mean that the recruitment process takes place through Friday and you will be employed by Alps Alpine.
