Your tasks:

In the role of Business Development Manager Customs, you will:

  • Manage assigned customers and budget base; pursue and secure business in line with the business objectives.
  • Probe and identify customer needs and provide solutions.
  • Build a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base
  • Research and understand the territory to identify and establish business contacts with potential customers
  • Be informed about competition and industry trends
  • Ensure customer relationship management tools are updated on time and are of excellent quality
  • Work closely with the local product organization to grow volumes and revenue


Your Profile:

To be successful in this role, we believe you bring the following experiences and competencies:

  • Professional experience in customs and broad knowledge of the market.
  • Sales profile with a winning mentality.
  • Track record of success around closing customs business and experience with local decision-making organizations.
  • Sales experience in the industry
  • Understanding of customer requirements and their concerns
  • Service and customer orientation
  • Strong communication skills
  • Independent action as well as an entrepreneurial mindset and commitment
  • Understanding of customer needs & requirements for the customs product​
  • Understanding of commercial solution sales process.​​
  • Drive pipeline portfolio to manage the set up targets for the customer base
  • Preferably knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools
