Electrical Design Engineer to international client
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and driven Electrical Design Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis, starting immediately and continuing until 2025-08-31. In this role, you will be pivotal in providing electrical design for customer order projects across various areas, including Generators, Relay Protections, Voltage Regulators, Switchgears, and Power Transformers. Your responsibilities will encompass conceptual and detailed design, prototyping, analysis, qualification, and production support, along with the generation of associated documentation. You will produce specifications, calculations, and reports to support design solutions while managing your work in accordance with project cost, timeline, and quality targets. Additionally, you will present your work at technical reviews and contribute to continuous improvement within the department by identifying process errors, improvement opportunities, and training needs.

Requirements for the Role
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive mindset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competence in Microsoft Office and other standard software packages.
- Ability to manage work according to project cost, timeline, and quality targets.
- Understanding of and adherence to departmental processes for technical scope control, quality, and health & safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience working with engineering tools such as Comos, AutoCAD, E-plan, or Matlab.
- Previous experience in power generation areas.
