Certification Engineer to our international client
About the role
You will work within the Product Quality department together with 16 team members, half of whom are employees and the other half are consultants. The group has significant expertise in pressurized systems, pipes, welding, electrical installation, as well as IEC Ex and certification. Depending on where the gas turbines are sold and their intended use, there may be requirements for certification of the products/items included in the delivery. The role is responsible for identifying these regulations and certification requirements, and in close collaboration with engineering, ensuring that these requirements are included in procurement documents and internal manufacturing. Continuously follow up with certification companies and compile certificates and documentation.
In your role as Certification Engineer your main tasks will include:
* Review contracts to identify local regulations and certification requirements and document them.
* Plan and document all activities required to meet certification/local regulations.
* Create and communicate certification plans and strategies for delivery projects.
* Update quality plans.
* Collaborate with authorities and certification organizations.
* Coordinate work within the project team to obtain the necessary documentation for the above approvals.
This position is a full-time consultant assignment running from August 26, 2024, until August 25, 2025. The position offers a hybrid work model, requiring you to work in the office in Finspång for 3 out of 5 days each week.

* Understanding and experience in reading and familiarizing oneself with standards
* Experience or knowledge of how certification organizations operate
