Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Buyer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Managing ongoing supplier contracts and ensuring high service levels.
• Purchasing production materials within the Machining and Fabrication commodity.
• Handling changes in demand and updating delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Overseeing supplier performance, including managing supplier relationships.
• Participating in production planning to ensure material availability.
• Monitoring deliveries to meet production schedules.
• Managing site procurement change control, export control, and ITAR compliance.
• Ensuring supplier adherence to contractual responsibilities.
• Supporting the development and implementation of strategies in alignment with global Commodity Management.
• Collaborating with colleagues across other GKN Aerospace sites to implement strategies locally.
• Contributing to key performance indicators (KPIs) such as purchase order arrears, inventory management, product price variance, and on-time delivery.
