Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On:

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Optimize data storage solutions in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
• Work closely with data scientists and analysts to enhance data processing and analysis workflows.
• Participate in data migration projects, including transitioning from legacy systems to modern platforms.
• Provide support for data-related issues and assist in troubleshooting to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Troubleshoot and monitor the cloud environment using tools like CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
• Utilize CloudWatch Insights, Alarms, Security Hub, Trusted Advisor, and Cost Management for effective cloud monitoring.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes environments to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Perform maintenance tasks, including updating the EKS engine and redeploying services.
• Develop, test, and maintain infrastructure automation scripts using Terraform.
• Ensure infrastructure changes are reviewed, tested, and deployed in a controlled and automated manner.
• Monitor and optimize network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.

What You Bring:

• Strong experience in AWS cloud management, including troubleshooting and monitoring with CloudWatch and CloudTrail.
• Proficient in monitoring and maintaining Kubernetes (EKS) environments.
• Skilled in developing and maintaining infrastructure automation scripts using Terraform.
• Adept at monitoring and optimizing network performance and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Ability to develop and enforce IAM policies for user and role-based access control.
• Experience with AWS KMS for managing cryptographic keys and ensuring data encryption at rest and in transit.
• Knowledge of implementing and managing SSL/TLS certificates using AWS Certificate Manager (ACM).
• Familiarity with ETL processes using AWS Glue for data integration and transformation.
• Experience creating and maintaining Helm charts for Kubernetes application deployment.
• Understanding of Kubernetes best practices for resource allocation, scaling, and management.
• Proficiency in implementing and enforcing IT security best practices.
• Experience conducting regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional level.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong English language skills for professional communication and documentation.
