Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior ATEX Specialist Engineer to join our dynamic team

What You Will Work On:

• Conduct in-depth analysis and create comprehensive reports on installed equipment.
• Assess electrical and pneumatic circuits for ATEX compatibility, suggest improvements, and coordinate implementation.
• Participate in all phases of the ATEX equipment project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with equipment suppliers for the selection of ATEX device manufacturers.
• Perform design reviews and documentation revision.
• Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT), installation supervision, commissioning, and site acceptance tests (SAT).

What You Bring:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in the design and review of ATEX systems, control cabinets, and safety circuits.
• In-depth understanding of CE and ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU rules and directives.
• Familiarity with machine safety standards (EN ISO 13849-1/-2, EN 61800-5-2).
• Practical experience working with production equipment.
• One or more of the following certifications:
• TUV SUD ATEX training
• EXAM-CERT Certification (TUV Rheinland)
• CompEx Certification IECEx
• Excellent written and oral English skills.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Proven experience in managing large projects and leading and developing a larger team.
