Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer (Electrical) to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

• Verify, inspect, and document electrical equipment and installations concerning explosion protection for turbine deliveries (Ex/ATEX).
• Review contracts to identify and document local regulations related to Ex equipment.
• Compile and maintain an Ex list of components with Ex requirements, ensuring their classification and certificates are accurate.
• Perform on-site safety inspections at installation locations to ensure compliance with Ex requirements for electrical installations.
• Document inspection findings, highlighting any deviations that require resolution.
• Support the sales team in Ex-related requirements and technical inquiries.
• Prepare reports on Low Voltage Directive (LVD) compliance as a basis for CE marking related to control cabinets.

What you bring:

• Strong experience in reading and understanding contracts.
• Proven track record in quality assurance and inspection work.
• Educational background as an electrical engineer or equivalent high school qualification with extensive experience in electrical installations.
• Knowledge and understanding of ATEX and Low Voltage Directive (LVD) compliance.
• IEC Ex competence is highly advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and structured approach to tasks.
• Ability to work methodically and ensure precision in all aspects of quality and compliance.
