The role
As a Key Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding key customer relationships while driving strategic growth initiatives across multiple business areas, including refurbished hardware and software, maintenance, product sales, and IT asset disposition. You will oversee the entire sales process from identifying new opportunities to contract negotiations, ensuring alignment with customer needs and internal operations.
Key responsibilities
· Customer Relationship Management: Identify and develop relationships with new and existing key customers across relevant segments, ensuring long-term partnerships.
· Sales Strategy & Execution: Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, sales meetings, pricing, contract negotiations, and post-sales support, with a focus on expanding maintenance services and product sales.
· Product & Service Development: Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the product and service portfolio, drive pricing strategies, and optimize market positioning for key brands.
· Supplier & Market Development: Identify and engage with suppliers to strengthen product offerings and ensure competitive pricing, leveraging market data to forecast trends and opportunities.
· Strategic Project Leadership: Lead and manage strategic initiatives, such as the development of IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) services, including the go-to-market strategy and certification processes (ISO, R2v3).
This revised role incorporates account management, strategic leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, emphasizing your ability to manage key accounts and business growth across various areas.
