About the role

As a Senior Test Engineer your focus will be automating quality assurance of new and existingfunctionality, as well as assuring non-functional requirements. You will join the developmentdepartment and one of our cross-functional development teams consisting of developers, testers, atech lead, and a product owner.We believe in self-organizing teams which will give you both freedom, responsibility andinvolvement while developing your team’s services - making work technicallychallenging and fun for all!

The open positions are in team School, team Integrations, and in one of our platform teams. Theschool team works with systems supporting administrative core processes and day-to-day tasks foradministrators, teachers, and children/students.

The platform team works with foundationalservices, such as different repositories (person, organization etc.), authentication, frameworks, etc.While the Integration team works with, well, integrations but also integration infrastructure systems.

All teams contribute to our ecosystem, either through API or UI, that enables our users to executetheir processes and tasks efficiently and smoothly, which will – in the end – enable teachers to spendmore time with the children/students!

About you

To be the right person for this job, you have several years of experience as a test engineer in bothmanual and automated testing, of functional and non-functional requirements. You have experiencein scripting and programming of automated tests. You are keen on new testing technologies andwork in a structured manner. You will cooperate with a lot of people outside of your team and aretherefore a good communicator.

Besides that, you understand that aspects of development such as readable and testable code, easeof operation, and outstanding UX - including performance, are highly important success factors forany software.

We would like you to have knowledge about web applications, databases and experience of testingtechniques and tools.

Competence and experience

We believe you have the following experience and capabilities to succeed in this role:

• Practical experience in automated test and test tools.o Such as Soap/Load UI, Postman, Apache JMeter, Selenium• SQL, REST, GraphQL, JSON• Scripting / programming experienceo Such as Java, Groovy, JavaScript etc.• Good at English, both spoken and written.

Experience in one or more of these tools is a bonus:

• Performance testing techniques.• APM tools, such as Datadog• Kubernetes, Docker
