Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be our engineering specialist for the driveline system in our global delivery projects. You will be a key-player ensuring smooth project execution within your area of responsibility. You will also have an important part in improving our deliveries and in developing our future offerings.

Your field of work in the electrical driveline system includes several technical areas such as, electrical motors, brakes, transformers, MV and LV switchgears, drive systems, reactive power control, measurement devices, and control and protection devices.

You will provide technical guidance to our design engineers for the system design of the driveline system. Including selecting driveline components based on performance requirements, and providing design details for the surrounding system while ensuring that our deliveries meet the project specific requirements.

You will make technical recommendations in the design, engineering, testing, installation, and commissioning phases of delivery projects to ensure the projects are completed according to requirements and standards. You will also support the sales team, the project teams and our customers with issues related to the driveline system, both in the office and on site if needed.

In this role there will be frequent interactions with customers, suppliers, and partners, as well as with internal stakeholders. Collaborating and networking with engineering colleagues, sharing best practices across different projects and disciplines will be an important aspect of the role.

Preferably you can also take on the role as electrical safety champion and support the organization on electrical safety matters.

Qualifications for the role

  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant industrial experience. For instance from electrical system design, maintenance, commissioning, product development.
  • Relevant experience of electrical motors, and one or more of the related technical areas; brakes for electrical motors, switchgears, transformers, cables, measuring devices, protection devices, AC drives.
  • Familiarity with electrical safety rules and regulations as well as experience from practical implementation of electrical safety routines is needed for the role as electrical safety champion.
  • Experience of control theory, PLC, or general electrical lab experience is an advantage, as well as experience from design of control cubicles.
  • You are a team player with high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
  • You have a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and strong communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, and working capability in Swedish is needed for the role as electrical safety champion.
