Strategy Manager

As the Strategy Manager at Altris, you will report directly to the Deputy CEO and collaborate closely with the entire management team. You will be instrumental in setting and executing the strategic priorities and agenda, driving high-impact initiatives across our business. With a focus on commercial go-to-market strategies and strategic product innovation, this role offers the opportunity to shape the future trajectory of Altris and the sodium-ion battery sector.

This is a leadership track role, with the potential to grow into the lead of the function and team as we expand. You will be working alongside a dynamic and ambitious group of colleagues, where your expertise in management consulting or strategy will be leveraged to deliver tangible results that shape the company’s future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set the strategic agenda and priorities for Altris in collaboration with the management team. Drive initiatives that enhance business growth, product innovation, and operational excellence.
• Lead and execute cross-functional projects such as market entry strategies, pricing models, operational frameworks, and partnerships to maximize business value.
• Align with and influence key stakeholders across the company, ensuring buy-in and effective execution of strategic initiatives.
• Play a critical role in developing and expanding the strategy function, with the potential to lead a team as we scale.
• While working at a strategic level, you will also be expected to roll up your sleeves and dive deep into project execution, delivering both analysis and implementation.

What were looking for We believe you have a technical or quantitative background, either by education or by extra-curricular activities. You have past experience from an engineering company, manufacturing company or a top tier management consulting firm. You have the capability to work in a broader strategic context as well as being hands-on and executing projects and analysis on your own. Lastly, as we love working with an environmental friendly battery, we believe that you should have a passion for it too.

In order to be successful, we believe you are/have

• 2-5 years of experience at a leading management consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) with a proven track record of strategic impact and leadership.
• Ability to think at a high-level strategic view while being able to translate that into detailed, actionable plans and projects.
• Strong ability to influence and align cross-functional teams, from executives to operational leaders, without formal authority.
• Exceptional ability to perform complex qualitative and quantitative analysis, while balancing pragmatic execution.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with constantly shifting priorities.
• Deep interest in the energy storage industry, with a genuine passion for environmentally friendly technologies, particularly in batteries.
