In the Consumer IT Tribe, we are building a modern and fast-paced software development organization with a mission to enable and accelerate Telenor Sweden's Consumer business. We have the accountability to provide fast-paced software development from business support systems up to the channel layer. Consumer IT are running several initiatives to improve the portfolio and legacy IT stack to a modern IT stack to increase stability, reliability, and overall performance of the system. What you will do In the role as Test Lead within Consumer IT, you will be responsible to drive large-scale transformation projects and/or programs from a quality perspective. You are responsible for overseeing the test activities throughout the entire project lifecycle and develop and implement the overall test strategy and test plan. You will define the testing scope, objectives, and deliverables, and identify test data and test environment needs to ensure the right test data and environment are available for the teams. This involves collaborating with the Consumer division, agile team leaders, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives. As Test Lead, you are responsible in leading and managing the teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their quality duties effectively. You assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and conduct regular meetings to review progress and address issues. You oversee the execution of test cases and test scripts in accordance with the defined test plan, monitor and report on test progress, defects, and other key metrics, and ensure that testing activities are completed on schedule. Identify automation scope together with the teams and ensure automation is used extensively to drive speed and efficiency. You enforce the Consumer IT quality strategy, collaborate with other leads, developers and testers to ensure consistency in testing approaches and methodologies, and conduct reviews of test deliverables to ensure quality and accuracy. Identify and assess potential risks related to testing activities, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, and communicate risks and mitigation plans to relevant stakeholders. Furthermore, you ensure comprehensive documentation of test cases, test scripts, and test results, and create and maintain testing-related documentation such as test plans, test reports, and defect reports. You identify opportunities for process improvement within the testing lifecycle and implement lessons learned from previous testing phases to enhance future testing activities. Who you are To succeed in the role as Test Lead, you are an experienced within the area and have previous experience in leading quality in large-scale projects. We believe that you have hands-on experience in Jira/Confluence, and a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to lead and inspire teams comes naturally to you. You are analytical and have problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. Additionally, you have working experience in Agile/DevOps setups, understanding of CI/CD, and familiarity with different test automation frameworks. Preferably you also have knowledge of AWS Cloud, including CloudWatch and Elastic Beanstalk, working knowledge of the TCM tool TestFLO, and experience with JMeter or other performance testing tools. Telecom experience and ISTQB certification (Test Manager) are also merited. Our promise A balanced workforce is key to our success.
