Are you an experienced finance professional with a background in risk and credit? At Sandvik Group Financial Services, we’re currently looking for a Senior Credit & Risk Analyst to join us in Stockholm.

Your mission

In this role, you take ownership of the credit analysis and assessment process for the Sandvik Group Financial Services, consisting of currently 10 captive customer finance portfolios. You also oversee the asset security management for the Group and act as our Anti-Money Laundering Risk Officer. By building a leading global Captive Finance Risk & Portfolio Management function, offering best-in-class financial solutions, you help our customers improve their performance.

Apply Sandvik Financial Service's expertise to proactively develop & provide suitable financial solutions to our customers, enabling the business areas SMR & SRP to sell more plus to generate a healthy return on Sandvik capital.

  • Proactive & constant review of the credit exposure to detect credit risks and threats for Sandvik Financial Services organization
  • Support our Regional Financial Services Managers in their credit and transaction risk assessment and provide advise to mitigate inherent risks
  • Advisor to the local Financial Services Managers during complex legal collection and/or repossession process
  • Update and monitor the Group’s internal Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedure, including record keeping, reporting, risk assessment, and customer due diligence (EDD)
  • Organize and arrange training for SFS Group staff on AML
  • Advise both SFS Group as well as SFS Regional management on policy implications and developments in regulations.
  • Identify and resolve non-compliant activities regarding AML and/or internal credit approval process
  • Drive continuously improvement of the Risk Management function e.g., AI based assessment
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal standards
  • Monitor changes and developments regarding regulatory requirements
  • Prepare ad-hoc reporting to SFS Management

You report to the CFO of Sandvik Financial Services (SFS). You work closely with our Financial Services Finance Managers, all designated credit approvers and Sales Area Controllers regarding customers´ payment behavior or PLM's regarding product risks and market value. This position is based in Stockholm, Sweden.

Your profile

We’re looking for someone with more than ten years' experience in the Commercial Finance Industry and an extensive background including international experience, Risk and Portfolio management, and cooperation with ECA and/or insurance companies. You have a good understanding of business drivers, different financing products and collaterals, credit analysis (financial statement, cash flow + business plan analysis) and risk management. You have a proven track record as MLRO, held Risk Analyst responsibility, and experience of leasing/financing accounting and asset valuation. Knowledge of the mining and construction industry is also needed. Your experience is backed by a university degree in Finance or Business economics. You have a very good understanding for business processes and drivers and are proficient written and fluent spoken English.
