About the roleAs Network Security Engineer, you’ll join our Operations team who has a responsibility for ensuring the security and operations of our diverse customers’ network infrastructures across cloud environments (Azure and AWS) and on-premises systems.

In this role, your focus will be on operations and to implement, manage, and maintain network security measures for multiple customers using Fortigate and Checkpoint solutions. Some of your tasks will amongst others be:

• Designing and managing security protocols and policies for cloud environments.

• Securing on-premises infrastructures, including firewalls and VPNs.

• Monitoring network traffic for unusual activities, analyzing security threats, and responding to incidents.

• Configuring and managing security settings, firewall rules, and VPN connections to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Documenting security configurations, policies, and incidents as well as preparing reports for customers and internal use.

• Diagnosing and resolving network security issues for our customers and providing advice and expertise to resolve any related technical problems.

• Staying updated with the latest security trends, threats and technologies.

We provide our customers 24/7 support for urgent network security issues and incidents, and you will be part of an on-call rotation scheme and offered extra compensation for your efforts.

Who are you?We believe you have a keen interest for networking, security and cloud and that you enjoy creating value and solving problems for clients. You are a strong believer in automation, making things faster and have a willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and security challenges. We are looking for several new colleagues to join us - either you are senior with several years commercial experience in the field and are searching for your next challenge, or you just started your career in networking and security and are looking for a place where you can learn the ins and outs of the field by experienced professionals.Other than that, we see that you come with following experiences:

• Experience as a Network Security Engineer, with expertise in Fortigate and Checkpoint products.

• Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall management.

• Experience with cloud networking and security in Azure and AWS environments.

• Familiarity with security best practices, compliance standards, and risk management.

• Experience in automation and DevOps practices.

• Experience and knowledeg of Terraform, Go, Python, Bash, Powershell, or similar to support automation.

(For juniors we see that you have an education in related field, as well as basic understanding of the mentioned experiences above).

And if you come with below experiences, we see it as a great advantage

• Relevant certifications such as Fortinet NSE, or Checkpoint CCS(X)

Our office is located in central Stockholm at Torsgatan 4. As we encourage a mix of in-person and remote work to foster innovation and support work-life balance (and like to have fun together), we see that you are based in commuting distance to our office location.
