Senior Operations Design Engineer

Northvolt has an exciting job offer for a Senior Operations Design Engineer to join our Västerås team.

The Senior Operations Design Engineer will enable lean and operational factory designs through utilizing data & cross functional inputs and implementing lessons learned.

Key responsibilities

• Develop operational, quality and maintenance requirements as a basis for the design process
• Collect & analyze data to build design models for scalability & standardization in the design process
• Co-develop and design of the Northvolt Production System based on lean principles and TPM concept and Northvolt Operational Excellence System
• Develop best in class engineering standards for Northvolt sites’ operations
• Collaborate with the factory organization to ensure continuous improvements of our operational processes & collection of lessons learned
• Manage the timeline of Industrial Engineering blueprint upgrades

Requirements

Qualifications and experience

• Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Process/Production or similar).
• 4+ years battery manufacturing experience, or similar
• 3+ years experience in factory design & equipment/tool knowledge
• Experience with lean methodology.
• Experience in a multi-cultural, cross-functional collaboration environment.
