About the role
As a Technical Customer Support Specialist at Heads, you will be an essential part of our Customer Success team, and report directly to the COO. You will be responsible for providing top-tier support and ensuring the smooth operation of software systems for our clients.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Operational and Service Support: Deliver high-quality operational and service support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Technical Customer Support: Handle and resolve hardware and software issues, providing expert assistance to our customers.
- Upgrade Execution: Perform and manage system upgrades efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to the customer environment.
- Environment Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor, test, validate, and troubleshoot customer environments to maintain optimal performance.
- Process Improvement: Drive and execute initiatives to improve workflows and scripts, enhancing overall efficiency and quality.
- Automation: Develop and implement automated routines and scripts for upgrades and server management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, including operational IT tasks, system maintenance, and upgrades.
- Technical Skills: Strong troubleshooting abilities with a solid understanding of computer systems, software, and networks.
- Hardware Management: Previous experience managing and installing retail hardware devices such as scanners, printers, and card machines.
- Programming Knowledge: Familiarity with programming languages, databases, and web technologies.
