About us Capital Markets is part of KPMG Deal Advisory which consists of four departments: Capital Markets, Transaction Services, Deal Strategy, and Corporate Finance. As a team Capital Markets takes on a wide range of assignments within our four service lines: IPO & ESG readiness, Deal Accounting, US Capital Markets, and Internal Controls IT + AI. The Capital Market’s Internal Controls IT + AI team is a cross­ functional team specializing in U.S. SOX IT Audit, Artificial Intelligence, and Automation technologies. Your role As a manager or above in the Capital Markets Internal Controls IT +AI team, you will: - • Lead and execute various engagements including PCAOB IT audit, Data analytics, internal controls to support IPO readiness, IPO, or deal accounting activities, AI assurance, SOC 1, SOC 2, and other compliance and/or advisory engagements. - • Apply and maintain a strong foundational knowledge of PCAOB, SOC 1, SOC 2, ISO27001, DORA, GDPR methodologies and principles. - Implement KPMG’s Audit Methodology and prepare clear and effective audit documentation.  - Interact professionally with clients and engagement teams and convey gathered information accurately. - Identify and communicate potential issues and opportunities for audit efficiencies and process improvement to relevant stakeholders. - Possibility to travel. You are self-motivated and are ready to proactively take ownership over the development of ideas and solutions. Furthermore, you possess excellent organizational skills and can make strong decisions and take initiatives. You work under pressure and maintain commitment to delivering under tight deadlines, and you are diplomatic, pragmatic, and have excellent communication skills. To be successful in this position, you must have: - Extensive experience (5+ years) in PCAOB IT auditing, assurance and other compliance frameworks - Knowledge of AI transformation, governance and risk assessment - Holds relevant accredited qualification (e.g., U.S CPA, CISA) - A university degree in Finance, Economics, Information Security, Data Analytics, Machine learning or a related field. - Basic knowledge of SQL Server and Python. Bonus, experience in building dashboards with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau or workflows in Power Automate and/or Alteryx - Excellent English language skills; proficiency in Swedish is a huge advantage.
