Job Description


We are now looking for a Test and Learn Analyst to join our Media Measurement team in Customer Activation unit. The mission of Customer Activation is to create a strategic plan that brings our brand direction to life through different touch points. Through data and customer insights, the unit will design a plan that will ensure a holistic customer experience from communication with our customer to our membership program.

As a Test and Learn Analyst, you will play a crucial role in driving data-driven decisions related to media, customer, and loyalty strategies. You will collaborate closely with the Test and Learn Lead to shape the Global Test and Learn roadmap, ensuring a clear understanding of the value generated by our strategic and tactical decisions. You will be responsible for planning, designing, analyzing, and communicating the results of various experiments conducted across our communication channels. This role requires a balance of technical excellence with clear and concise communication.

In this role you will:

  • Establish processes and conduct experiments and analyses to support strategic decisions within the organization
  • Guide test & learn agenda, acting as an expert in statistics and supporting stakeholders on best practice in measurement
  • Oversee experimentation processes from planning to communication of results
  • Use SQL, Python/R, Google BigQuery, Google Looker, PowerBI and other tools to analyze data and conduct statistical analyses
  • Visualize and present experiment results to stakeholders both within and outside of H&M
  • Contribute ideas to the Test & Learn Agenda and enhance our measurement system from an experimentation perspective
  • Assess the impact of our strategic and tactical decisions
  • Participate in the wider analytical community within Customer Activation, Sales and broadly H&M Group to share and expand collective knowledge and skills



Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with data analytics, controlled experimentation, data science, marketing, or related fields
  • Experience with randomized controlled trial, hypothesis testing, quasi-experiments or similar methodologies
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience managing large datasets from multiple data sources
  • Knowledge of Python/R or other programming language
  • Experience working with marketing and customer data is a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Analytical mindset and ability to lead with data-driven insights within a cross-functional team
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
