Job Description

As a strategic Communications Advisor at H&M Group you work with various communications topics and areas with a focus on financial and non-financial reporting. You will lead the cross-functional work to further develop a consistent reporting strategy and process, set strategic key messages and integrate reporting further into the companies overall communications strategy and plans, as an important contribution to further building trust in the H&M Group.

In this role you will work closely with senior leadership teams, including CEO, CFO, Communications Director, Head of IR and a variety of different teams across various functions, incl. for example our IR, Corporate Governance and Sustainability teams.

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Set strategy and oversee strategy implementation for prioritized regulatory and/or voluntary financial and non-financial reports, i.e.our Annual and Sustainability Report and adjacent reports such as Modern Slavery Statements.
  • Act as editor in chief for prioritized reports, ensuring consistency in key messaging and tone of voice.
  • Develop strategic key messages, for example on company direction and strategy, and integrate key messages, risks and opportunities in overall communications strategy & planning .
  • Together with a dedicated Project Managers ensure an aligned and efficient production process.
  • Input and align key messages from overall communications strategy with our IR team to prepare quarterly reports and support senior leadership teams.

Qualifications

We believe you are a strategic and an experienced communicator with experience in financial and non-financial reporting. You can drive complex cross-functional processes under high time pressure and in close collaboration with senior leadership teams. You have a curious mindset to learn more about complex issues and build internal networks.

What you need to succeed:

  • Solid experience in strategic communications, particularly financial communications, and external reporting.
  • Strategic planning skills and ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve the company's stated goals.
  • Strong understanding of business strategies and how to communicate these effectively to different target groups.
  • Strong writing and communication skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Strong leadership skills both formal and informal and experience from cross-functional collaborations.
  • Holistic mindset and focus on the success of the whole company.
  • Ability to formulate a vision and strategy and capable to communicate in an inspirational way.
  • You are fluent in oral and written English and Swedish.
  • Use to working in a changing environment and driving change.
