We are looking for an ambitious individual to join our Product Insurance team as a Senior Product Manager, to help us to drive growth across UK and Europe.

Product Insurance (Pl) is a business that enables insurers to sell accidental damage, theft protection, and warranty extension insurances for products sold on Amazon across EU5. Our mission is to help customers protect their purchases by offering them insurance across the wide selection of items offered on Amazon's websites.

Key role responsibilities:

As a Sr. Business Development Manager on PI team, you will work across Product, Compliance, Legal, Customer Service and Business teams to develop customer opportunities. This high visibility role will require regular internal communication with senior leaders, collaboration with tech and non-tech teams, and influence on partner team's roadmaps to secure progress toward shared goals. This will also require daily interactions with our Insurance Sellers in UK and EU.

Key job responsibilities:

  • Identify and size opportunities to unlock new sellers, product clusters or countries and enable incremental revenue growth
  • Conducting the bid annually with insurance sellers and manage contracts / commercials. In doing so, you will review the bid framework to search for improvements for our customers and for the business.
  • Managing the relationship and operations of sellers, including reviewing Service Level Agreements, operational efficiency, etc.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to grow the Amazon Product Insurance business
  • Compile, manage and report on CX and Ops metrics metrics monthly, and lead external stakeholders meetings to align on deep dive and next steps

This is a high visibility position with big scope for creativity, self-development and opportunity to operate in a multi-faceted and ambiguous environment.

You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the customer lifecycle for Product Insurance - working with new technologies that improve usability and increase performance and scalability. You will help redefine normal for this segment of the market, and bring structure to an ambiguous space. You will help translate business requirements to operationally stable solutions that provides an optimal customer experience.

About the team

Amazon Product insurance is a young and dynamic program in Europe, present in the UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain. Along with internal and external partners, we are re-defining the warranties and product insurance experience, disrupting the way traditional product insurance services are acquired and delivered and creating a new portfolio of services.

We have ambitious plans to significantly grow operations in our current markets and create new, innovative products that will provide excellent customer experience and satisfaction.

Basic qualifications:

  • 5+ years business development
  • Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
  • Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
