In-house Delivery Manager to ALTEN Stockholm

ALTEN is now seeking to strengthen our inhouse capabilities within Automotive Engineering and are looking for someone to join us as Delivery Manager in a role where you combine business, leadership with technical skills. This is an opportunity to become a member of our Technical Direction where we are currently delivering work packages and development teams to several major clients in Sweden. We are now looking for someone with solid experience who can supervise, lead and engage with different development projects towards one of our largest automotive clients in the Stockholm area. You should have a technical background within engineering as well as experience with managing projects and/or teams. Technical Direction is a division consisting of senior project leaders in different engineering areas such as Mechanical Engineering and Embedded Systems.   Personal traits we are looking for is ambition, drive and a will to constantly develop both yourself and your teams. We expect you to be flexible since we are working in a fast-paced world but also able to deliver projects and teams with expected quality, time and budget.   Your job will mainly consist of: - Managing projects, teams and technical proposals in the mechanical engineering domain - Monitor and guard the budget for each work package - Coach team members - Make sure we deliver on time with expected quality and budget - Grow the business together with the team - Handle commercial discussions with customers We want you to have: B.Sc or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related technology area 7+ years of experience from technical development projects An interest to combine business, technology and leadership in the same role Leadership experience Drivers license Commercial Vehicle Automotive or similar experience    What we offer you: Being part of our most senior team within ALTEN with an exposure to many different technology areas within the commercial vehicles sector.
