We are looking for a Head of Volume Planning and Sales Steering within our BMW National Sales Company to manage and monitor the volume planning, steer sales of vehicles to meet commercial and financial targets, ensure optimum management of stock, provide accurate and detailed reporting and analysis as basis for local decision-making and central reporting.

Key responsibilities of the role

§ Preparing of weekly, monthly and long-range sales estimations and input the figures in the planning systems on engine level.

§ Defining, managing, and refining the total production allocation to Nordic and Baltic markets considering both, financial implication and changing market demand.

§ Responsible for sales steering and sales performance on monthly level.

§ Steering of sales targets per market and in total for the region.

§ Identifying, steering and ensuring additional sales opportunities to optimize the sales needs of the Nordic Markets.

§ Planning and preparation of volume planning, sales follow up and reporting for new cars.

§ Analyzing and monitoring the market development in the NE.

§ Providing strategic information to management, highlighting potential risk and opportunities with impact on wholesale and retail volume targets.

§ Preparing and refining ad-hoc reports and presentations to support management meetings and decisions in the NE region.

§ Permanent improvement of volume planning and forecasting processes to increase accuracy and steering.

§ Constant development of reporting tools and reporting quality for NSC and Dealer network to enable even more accurate and efficient steering of business.

What should you bring along?

· Master's degree preferably in business with minimum of 5 years’ experience within automotive business.

· Profound knowledge of the automotive value chain (Production – Wholesale – Retail) and the drivers of the business.

· Ability to lead people and to work collaboratively in a team environment.

· Expert in Excel and PPT.

· Fluent in English (German, or NE language is an advantage).
