atNorth is a leading Nordic data center services company that offers sustainable, cost effective and scalable high-performance computing across the Nordics. The company operates seven data centers in strategic locations across the Nordics, with two more to open during the year to come.

The Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for conducting maintenance and repairs on the infrastructure at the data center. You'll also ensure 24/7 availability for mission-critical systems and monitor operational efficiency. The role includes participation in an emergency rotation for crisis situations.
Furthermore, you'll collaborate with the team to adhere to industry standards and provide prompt technical support to both internal and external parties. The overarching focus is on delivering high-quality support while striving for energy and cost efficiency. Additionally, the role will involve handling procurement and budgetary matters.

Main tasks:
  • Maintain the data center's power and facility systems, including PMS (Power Management System) and BMS (Building Management System).
  • Install, monitor, and maintain equipment within atNorth's data center.
  • Work on resolving customer issues, handling incident management, and supporting customer IT solutions through "smart hands" services.
  • Ensure that the work environment complies with all industry standards for safety and cleanliness.
  • Maintain and monitor the data center's infrastructure, monitoring systems, and management of subcontractors.
  • Support asset management, change management, and vendor management administration.
  • Provide support to internal colleagues in project management, IT, sales, and finance.
     
You report to the Site Manager and are based at the site in Kista. The role requires physical presence on-site. Response time is 2 hours.

Is this you?

To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with experience in a similar position within a data center or an industrial environment. You have worked with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and have experience in administrative work related to the operation of a data center/facility. It is advantageous if you have relevant education in areas such as electrical engineering or experience with high voltage systems.
You communicate effectively both in writing and verbally in the Swedish language and have basic knowledge of the English language.
