Northvolt has an exciting job offer for an Industrial Electrician to join our fantastic team at Revolt Ett in Skellefteå.

By joining us, you will play an important role, from the very beginning, in building one of Europe´s first large-scale battery recycling plants. Revolt will play an important role in the transition to a carbon-free society by bringing sustainability to the battery industry.

Someone who is outgoing, has excellent communication skills, works well with others and is committed to helping this great project reach its full potential.

You will work closely with operators, technicians and other production staff where your focus will be on maintaining Revolt Ett´s power distribution system and a one-of-a-kind system used to safely and autonomously discharge batteries prior to recycling. Although shift work is not currently required, this situation is expected to change once commissioning is complete and production begins.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with operators, technicians and other production personnel to understand and effectively communicate improvements and maintenance activities.
  • Install, maintain and repair electrical control, wiring and lighting systems.

  • Contribute to the optimization of maintenance programs.
  • Mentor for others in maintenance specific tasks.
  • Evaluation of necessary spare parts for electrical equipment.
  • Together with the rest of the team, be a key player in developing and maintaining a safe work environment.

The person we are looking for is strongly goal oriented, curious and eager to learn. You will get the chance to have a real impact on our success story in Sweden (to start with) and see the results of your work. Our organization requires and values great self-discipline and a natural talent to make things happen. The Industrial Electrician is a vital member of the Maintenance team and key to Revolt´s mission to enable the environmentally sustainable production of batteries.

Apply with CV and cover letter or your complete LinkedIn profile and let´s make oil history together!
