We are now looking for customer oriented Sales Engineer willing to develop and grow in a dynamic business environment Strategic account management, work closely with key account managers, markets and our customers. About the role

As a Sales engineer you are responsible to provide engineering support and technical solutions for KTF account managers (KAM, GAM) in their projects, tenders, offers preparation, as well to Scania strategic customers. That includes specification and quotations preparation in line with market and customer requirements, preparation of technical solutions in cooperation with other Scania departments, participation in different related projects and leading technical knowledge sharing within KTF team.


You will work closely with body builders OEM/direct customers preparing engineering so-lutions and specifications, provide technical advices based on the requests, present proposed specifications internally and externally, proactively review customer specifications and pro-pose improvements or change of strategy to achieve operational efficiency, coordinate tech-nical projects with strategic OEM customers, actively take part in projects of cost/lead time reduction.

Required experience and qualifications

As a person, we believe that you have an analytical way of thinking and great communication skills. You have the ability to work with complex technical tasks and solve problems. Furthermore, team spirit and respect for the individual are crucial for you! You don't have to fulfil all the bullets below, but if you can that's of course a bonus!


• University degree in Engineering

• Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience

• Project management

• General knowledge of Scania’s product & service

• Knowledge of industrial legal requirements

• Basic market knowledge

• MS Office advanced user

• Knowledge / experience of work with different systems in the area of responsibility

• Fluent in English

• Excellent interpersonal skills
