Laboratory Technican to BAT
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Laboratory Technician to provide daily support in ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. You’ll perform various assessments and analyses, ensuring our production processes meet agreed standards. Your tasks will include conducting laboratory tests, analyzing data, validating product specifications, and identifying any non-compliances. You’ll play a key role in supporting the production team, promoting quality and hygiene standards, and ensuring continuous improvement in line with our company values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document laboratory tests with accuracy.
- Work closely with production to enhance quality control procedures.
- Apply and maintain hygiene and quality compliance standards.
- Perform chemical, physical, and visual product analyses.
- Communicate non-compliance issues and ensure corrective actions.
- Record data in our laboratory’s database and systems.
- Identify non-compliances and abnormality, communicate appropriate actions to stakeholders and follow up on progress e.g., for equipment maintenance.
- Support the quality department in various tasks and backfill team members as needed.
The role as Laboratory Technician is consultancy assignment, starting as soon as possible. You will be employed as a consultant through Adecco and have every opportunity to become a member of the at F&L Q team.
About you
You are someone who holds a university degree in a relevant field such as food technology, biology, or medicine, with 2-3 years of experience in a similar laboratory role. Your strong understanding of laboratory information systems and automated equipment allows you to conduct analyses with precision and accuracy. You have excellent analytical abilities, combined with a keen eye for detail, making you good at identifying non-compliance issues and ensuring that appropriate corrective actions are taken.
As a team player, you are someone who communicates effectively with both the laboratory and production teams, helping to promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement. You are also flexible, able to adapt your efforts to meet the changing needs of the business and are eager to learn and grow within the role.
