As a light specialist, you will be a key person responsible for driving the development of both circadian lighting and lighting technology in general. You are involved in lighting product development and work to ensure that our products meet high standards of performance, specifications and regulatory certification. Your work will also involve advanced mathematical models of the circadian system, where you develop and translate scientific insights into practical, market-driven applications. You will analyze the latest technology and market developments to provide strategic advice and steer our development projects in the right direction. The role involves many social touchpoints where you will be in contact with system administrators, product management and lighting design teams to help integrate the technologies with the solution. An important part of the work is to perform optical characterization of luminaires and components as well as maintain and develop the light characterization lab.
* Running development projects in groundbreaking circadian lighting technology
* Working with lighting product development, performance, specifications and regulatory certification
* Performing optical characterization of luminaires and components. Maintain and develop light characterization labs
* Work with mathematical models of the impact of light exposure on the circadian system and develop new scientific advances into practical applications
* PhD in physics/electrical engineering/biotechnology or similar field with a strong focus on lighting technology
* Several years of experience in driving roles in related technology areas
* Knowledge of light and colour science and metrology
* Experienced in light characterization and handling of characterization equipment
* Expertise to optoelektroniska komponenter
* Knowledge of data science and analytics
* Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken as well as written
