Senior Purchaser Are you a person who identify details while considering the big picture - making the right priorities and efficiently act both short and long term? We are now looking for a Senior Purchaser to join our team at our HQ in Lund, Sweden. Join our team and together we will continue to support our customers around the world. Who is your future team? You will be part of a team of 15 dedicated and talented RMA Supply and Reverse logistics professionals. The purpose of the team is to provide excellent customer service by timely delivering products in the aftermarket from our 16 external partners around the world. We work close together within the team and cross functionally in the whole Axis supply chain, delivering and optimizing product availability at the right time and place. Our overall vision within Reverse Supply Chain is to maintain a smarter, safer, and more sustainable world. What you'll do here Your main responsibility is to balance inventory and ensure parts availability at our RMA partners. To achieve this, you are responsible for the procurement and inventory management of spare and repair parts. You will collaborate and manage your procurement and planning with different suppliers and key stakeholders. Typical duties include: * Take responsibility and set strategy together with the planning team to secure availability of parts from NPI phase until End of Support. * Set and drive an inventory management strategy to ensure availability. * Be a key player in the new product introduction forums. * Plan and manage purchasing orders for components and parts. * Participate, set demands and act in projects related to your role. But the job is so much more than the actual buying and supply planning. A great part of your responsibility is also working with continuous improvements. Initiating and drive activities to improve our processes and collaborations internally and externally, both short-and long term. Who are we looking for/Who are you? We'd love to hear that you have/are: * Master's or bachelor's degree in relevant areas. * Minimum 5 years of experience working with purchasing, logistics or supply chain management. * Experience in ERP systems, Qlik, Microsoft Office (Excel), and other reporting is desirable. * Structured and self-motivated and know how to plan your work. * Fluent written and verbal communication skills in both English and preferably Swedish. * A positive and attentive person who adapt easily.
