We're also a long-established leader in the field. That all makes for a complex global environment in which, if you're equally productive and ambitious, you'll be supported to thrive. Here, whether in terms of skills and knowledge, career path or location, you can grow where you are or anywhere in the world. Our culture is secure and offers ever-evolving opportunity: people stay with us because they can choose many ways in which to grow and develop About the job We're a long established, world leading company with even bigger ambitions. So we have much more potential to achieve and products to innovate - responsibly and sustainably. You'll enjoy a challenging, rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a real impact on a sustainable, successful future - for us, our clients and the planet. Co-operating, locally and internationally, with our designers & specialists from various functions, you'll play your part in leading new product development by adapting both calculation methods and calculation tools. As far as development and existing product improvement is concerned, you will support our designers with calculations and simulations to ensure at an early stage that our heat exchangers achieve the expected performance. As a team member within R&D, you will be able to contribute with your creativity and knowledge in the construction of sustainable development. In certain parts of the role, you may work with interpretations of various pressure vessel and construction regulations. This means working actively with various authorities to ensure that changes are beneficial for our products. It's an all-encompassing role that will also see you work with R&D reviewing and ensuring that the construction meets the dimensioning requirements placed on the product itself based on specific regulations. It includes deep diving in requirements, regulations and/or technical documentations. In other parts of the role, you may work with calculation and numerical simulations in concept development or root cause analysis cases. The normal questions in this part relates to evaluation of solid mechanics such as vibration, fatigue, forming, steel & packaging materials, welding joints and similar. If you are interested in these different aspects of calculations and numerical simulations - and/or the interpretations of various pressure vessel and construction regulations - this may just be the role for you. We are all about hiring for potential, so depending on our needs, your interests and your competence, you may focus on different parts of the above-mentioned areas of responsibility within pressure vessel standards and/or calculation. About you You're driven by results and focus on the details to achieve them. You're open, communicative and you enjoy working together with people with different skills to achieve the best results. You're also co-operative, flexible and you know that building business is all about meeting and exceeding our customers' expectations. You have a genuine interest and good knowledge within structural mechanics. You are analytical and can easily create hypothesises to facilitate the understanding of our constructions. You also have an interest in the physics of an heat exchanger and have the ability to translate it into analytical equations or calculation models, and compare it to the requirements in the relevant regulations. You also have the ability to look outside the box and are not afraid to question the current truths and find alternative solutions. Educated to university degree level, or equivalent, in mechanics or mechanical engineering, technical physics or similar (e.g. solid knowledge in calculation and numerical simulation) you would ideally also have experience of using different types of CAE and calculators, communicating technical information tailored to the recipient and developing & implementing technologies, processes and tools for structural mechanics. You display excellent communication skills in the English language (reading, speaking, writing). It would be a bonus if you were likewise fluent in the Swedish language. Just like us, you're also ambitious, goal driven, deadline-focused and eager to surpass expectations. We care about diversity, inclusion, and equity in our recruitment processes. We also believe behavioral traits can provide important insights into a candidate's fit to a role. To help us achieve this we apply Pymetrics assessments, and upon application you will be invited to play the assessment games.
